Supporting Agriculture: Mustello Hosts Farmers Breakfast in Butler

BUTLER – Area farmers and agriculture producers are invited to join Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler) for her annual Farmers Breakfast on Friday, April 10, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at American Legion Post 778, 150 Legion Memorial Lane, Butler.

The event will feature guest speaker U.S. Rep. Glenn “GT” Thompson, who serves as chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Agriculture. Thompson will provide an update on issues impacting farmers and agriculture producers, as well as insights into the industry’s role as a key economic driver for the Commonwealth.

“Our farmers are the backbone of Butler County, and this breakfast is about recognizing the hard work they put in every single day,” said Mustello. “I’m grateful to Congressman Thompson for joining us to share updates and to hear directly from the people who keep this industry strong.”

The event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to connect with fellow farmers and share their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the agriculture community.
