BUTLER – Rep. Marci Mustello (R-Butler) is teaming up with Butler County Veterans Services to host an Aid and Attendance Seminar for Veterans and Family Members on Friday, March 13, from 1-3 p.m. at American Legion 778, 150 Memorial Legion Lane in Lyndora.

“Veterans and their families are invited to learn about income-based services where the Veterans Administration (VA) provides monthly payments to veterans or widows who meet income and eligibility requirements,” said Mustello.

In order to attend, one of the following must be true:

• Applicant must be at least 65 years old.
• Have a permanent or total disability.
• Be a patient in a nursing home.
• Be receiving Social Security Disability Insurance or Social Security Insurance.

Aid and Attendance is a program created by the Department of Veterans Affairs for wartime veterans and their surviving spouses.
